Biography
Since 2006, PERIOD has aggressively existed on a new frontier of improvised music. Without conforming to any one genre’s rules, Period creates a sound that exists in between the worlds of metal, free form jazz, electronics & glacial
rock music. Their first album, a coveted underground collector’s item, “PERIOD” was released in 2006 on Fucking A Show Releases and Funhole Records, and sold out almost immediately. Their first new CD in eight years, “PERIOD 2”,
comes out in May on Public Eyesore and features further developments into a sonic world all their own. The members of Period have performed and recorded with a slew of respected performers and conceptualists.
