Reviews: (Neozine no. 18) 16 tracks ranging from 30 seconds to seven minutes. This is an odd turd bird. Very broad minded shit noise improv covering everything from harsh to minimal, experimental and atmospheric.. Its like a buffet table of tantalizing treats Everything doesn't necessarily go together, but the diversity works for this quirky recording. Its just out there, and there's no arguing with the wackiness of expressed idiocy. Everything here is worth a try, and if you don't like it..there are other things! Caution, do not take on an empty brain. - CHC
"The Avant-Garde Revolts" is very similar to things one eats when on vacation... mostly, you just nibble odd morsels here and there, sampling the tastes of another town... although something is familiar about the scent? the texture? often you can't pin it down exactly. Sometimes you get sick. Of course, this doesn't ever dissuade one from eating completely. Some foods are offered to you, each with a little toothpick in them. You can choose which you like. Nobody expects you to dine from the whole tray. Perhaps there is one meal you remember particularly well. You are safe in the perfect moment, and right then, the universe steps aside to let you pause for a breath of fresh air. - DaveX
(Neo-Zine) Droning minimal atmospheres of creepy distant freak ambient noise, and throwaway experiments setting a very mysterious tone. Fantastic mists of mood swirling through the surreal with occasional beacons or invisible presences making themselves known. Perfect to get yourself lost. Continuity takes a few trips and tragic turns on this CD, but where it gels, it is an inspiring piece of brain graying. - CHC
