Biography
Yoko began her musical career in the mid 1990's when she joined the Morioka, Japan free improvisation band Sotto Voce. She began recording her solo piano and compositions at that time which are both reminiscent of Patty Waters and Diamanda Galas, her soft voice sometimes reaching screeching highs. In 1999 Yoko began performing with guitar, playing it percussively with screwdrivers and metal objects. Currently Yoko is focussing on guitar feedback and voice along with her solo piano improvisation.
